Pat Flanary has seen all sides of the mortgage industry from retail mortgage lending to secondary market sales to brokerage sales. The success of Advantage Mortgage Network is a result of Pat’s core beliefs and principles which are based on integrity, teamwork and trust. The importance of these traits in building a successful business is evidenced by Pat’s being chosen in 2003 as a “Super Entrepreneur” by Administaff, a Fortune 500 company and the nation’s leading professional employer organization. That same year, Pat was invited to serve on a 25-member nationwide Freddie Mac advisory board and she continues to serve in that capacity in 2009. Pat also has co-chaired the Texas Association of Mortgage Brokers Credit Smart Program, a financial literacy program created to educate people on what it takes to buy a home. The program, which is aimed at several distinct underserved demographics, operates under the auspices of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers and Freddie Mac. Advantage Mortgage Network currently operates as a mortgage banker with in-house underwriting and closing staff capability. A woman-owned business, Advantage Mortgage Network was one of only two privately owned Austin mortgage companies in the top ten based on units closed in 2004 by the Austin Business Journal.
